Cancellation & Refund Policy

DRAFT — not yet legal advice. This document is a structured starting point that covers the disclosures the compliance guide requires. It must be reviewed and finalized by a consumer-protection lawyer before launch, and this box must be deleted at that point.
Section 1How to cancel
You may cancel your subscription by emailing [email protected]. Tell us your name and the email address on your account. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.
Section 2The deadline
You may have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract in certain circumstances. Those rights apply regardless of the deadline above.
Section 3What cancelling does
Cancelling ends your subscription and your access to the platform. Worksheets you have already downloaded remain yours.
Cancelling also ends any scheduled subscription payments that have not yet been taken. Payments already taken are dealt with under Section 4.
Where your plan included a promotional cashback that has already been paid to you, the effect of cancellation on that benefit is described in the Cashback Program Terms.
Section 4Refunds
Where a refund is due under this policy, we refund to the original payment method after we accept the request.
Our general approach:
- If we could not give you the access you paid for — we refund what you paid for the period you could not access.
We do not state that refunds are never given in any circumstance. Cancellation and refund requests are handled in accordance with this policy and with the rights the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable consumer legislation give you. Nothing in this policy limits a right that you cannot legally give up.
Section 5If something goes wrong
If you believe the service was not provided as described, contact us first — we would rather fix it. If we cannot resolve it, you keep every remedy the law gives you, including the right to complain to the consumer protection authority in your province.
